SORAT
SORAT single officer response to an active threat: In the current age of active shooter events seconds count. Law enforcement can no longer wait to assemble the team or wait minutes for back up. They need to interpret the attack immediately. History is shown that most victims are targeted in the first eight minutes of the attack. The average 911 call + LE response= 5-7 minutes . We can no longer let the attack continue while we wait, concerned about our safety. We must protect the innocent. This course teaches techniques and tactics to minimize the solo officer's danger while decreasing the attacker's time on target. Students are also instructed on the importance of communications with other units arriving and how to make the officer link-up while continuing to take ground in time away from the attacker. Additionally, they are instructed on life-saving, basic improvised trauma treatment. They'll receiving a personal kit so they can save the lives of their fellow officers or the innocents. Site survey/threat assessment, a site survey of your location building along with a review of your facilities emergency operations plan the threat assessment considers the full spectrum threats for a given facility or location including natural criminal terrorist, an accidental at the conclusion of the survey a detailed report with recommendations is completed. Organizational and Command Leadership

S.A.S.A., a surviving active shooter attack, course description: This program consist of part lecture in part hands on. The lecture covers the history and statistics of active attack or events along with law-enforcement, fire/EMS response. The program focuses on enhancing the lock-down procedures already in place. The students are type simple techniques that increase the chances of surviving a violent attack. The hands-on training with both enhanced lockdown tactics and BITT (basic improvised trauma treatment) brings the two parts together by the end of the session to help the students see the whole picture and how truly useful they can be in limiting the damages caused by a violent attack. During these hands on portions the students are placed into simulated, active scenarios and, using new techniques learned, see their chances of survivability drastically increase. B.I.T.T. , basic improvised trauma treatment, course description: Most active attacker training offers very little in the way of trauma medicine. As part of the course offering we understand that although law enforcement and fire/EMS are hustling to assist you in this crisis, the real rock star is you in the schools or workplace.
